What is Boudoir Photography?
Boudoir Photography is an intimate photo shoot for women and men alike, usually shot in beautiful lingerie, silky pajamas or sometimes nothing at all with a sheet skillfully draped over your body. The session can take place in the comfort of your own home, in a hotel, or anywhere else you feel comfortable! Traditionally, these photos have been taken for the private viewing of the customers romantic partner, or as a wedding gift for a groom, however you can also do a boudoir photo shoot for yourself, to boost confidence and to help learn to love your body! Photos are shot tastefully but the theme is all up to you.
"But what if I'm not comfortable showing you my body?"
This is a question which comes up all the time. I want to start off by reassuring you that I believe all bodies are beautiful and I want to help you believe that too! Secondly, In my previous career I was a nurse and so I have seen more naked people than I can count. There is nothing unnatural about your body. Thirdly, I am a 'plus size' woman and so I completely understand struggles with body confidence and not feeling 'perfect'. So I want to reassure you that I will not judge your body. Finally, the last option is not to strip down to your underwear. We can still take some beautiful images in a pretty set of pajamas, or just show some leg under a silk robe. I can make it work for you!
What do I want to achieve?
My goal as your photographer is to make you feel like a beautiful, sexy and powerful woman who can take on the world! I want to give you the confidence about yourself that you felt you were lacking. I want to help you ignite the spark in your relationship with a gift for your partner. I believe I can do all this for you. And guys, I don't want to leave you out either...
